"Overall, very good feedback. Jurror did not give feedback on one of the images or 2 of the booth shots. (I did the 15+5option) But comments on the other images were clear and helpful. He also gave ideas for how I can stretch and target my work to improve my chances of acceptance."

"Excellent suggestions for improvement. Very satisfied. Appreciated the follow up opportunity via e-mail. Would have appreciated a little more detail in individual critiques of art slides. Great suggestions on booth improvement. Very prompt review."
Client's rating of Robert Watson: 4 (Excellent)

"It was very good feedback. He gave me some good suggestions on creating a better booth space. Since I am somewhere in the nether world between crafts person and artist his feedback on what it takes to get into the fine art shows was helpful. And I guess I need to decide whether I am an artist or craftsman. He seemed knowledgable about how to present art pieces, and about the process of selection for major art fairs. I felt I was getting advice from a professional, someone who has been on both sides of the very arbitrary, puzzling jury process."
Client's rating of Robert Watson: 4 (Excellent)

"I was 0 for 10 on Zapp before virtual jury and now I'm at about 60% accepted. Best show investment I've made. "

"Robert Watson confirmed a lot of thoughts we had about the jury process. He took the time to look outside the box and gave us some valuable input. We give him 'Two Sheep Up' (Out of two possible sheep). Thanks! P.S. Do more than one Virtual Jury with different jurors and you might find some very different results. Very interesting... P.S. II We just got into two more with the same set of slides.... "
Client's rating of Robert Watson: 4 (Excellent)

"Very complete slide evaluation and very helpful comments on how to improve myself."
Client's rating of Robert Watson: 4 (Excellent)

"Bob has been incredibly helpful and straight forward about what he saw as the strengths and weaknesses of my work as it pertained to the jury process. He has gone out of his way to give me, a newcomer, a glimpse into how and why the jury process works. "
Client's rating of Robert Watson: 4 (Excellent)

"Bob was VERY helpful. His comments were specific, so that we will really be able to utilize them. He answered all my questions, and even went above and beyond by answering additional questions I had after reading his first e-mail."
Client's rating of Robert Watson: 4 (Excellent)

"Bob's comments were very helpful and gave me needed insight into a juror's mindset. I was not surprised by his comments and certainly made me feel as if, being a representational artist, I very little chance of getting into the bigger shows, as these shows are looking for more abstract, cutting edge work, which is not what I do. I do appreciate his straight-forward and helpful comments."
Client's rating of Robert Watson: 4 (Excellent)

"very enlightening......finally a clear analysis that I can work on."

Gave a very well thought out response; not just reviewing the images but overall philosophy on what the jurors are looking for as it relates to my genre."

"Excellent feedback. Bob's review of the images was technical, precise, and he gave a good perspective on why particular images were stronger than others. "This was just the kick in the seat of the pants I needed. I appreciate your candid comments and I agree with almost all of it. I had gotten into the habit of creating work that people liked and hadn't been stretching myself as much as in the past. I have been looking at including more organic forms and materials into my work, taking my planet series a step further by morphing into geometric shapes and adding additional elements. Currently I'm drawing on mylar and experimenting with ways to attach it to canvas and paper (sewing, grommets, etc). I honestly didn't know how to set up a tent and I've learned alot from observation at festivals lately and your comments help tremendously. I have meant to continue my musical series too - I'm trying to figure out a way to make them festival friendly - we've had so much rain of late I'm hesitant to take framed pieces - at least right now. I am going to take an organic forms and materials workshop this summer too - to integrate into my work to make it more interesting. I have only submitted to one extremely large festival (Inman Park which is 200,000) and they have a juried section and a market. I was frustrated because the artists I knew that got in art very folk - writing saying on canvas. But, I am realizing I have to compete for the fine art slots, which there aren't too many of them. I'm going to work through the summer and push myself - and go from there. I might do this again when I feel ready. thanks for your time and your honesty"

"Overall excellent review and critique. Bob is obviously taking the assignment very seriously; he did a detailed analysis of my slides and my work in the context of his knowledge of the trends and preferences of the juries in my field. I learned a lot about the jury processes and will be able to make good use of this information for my future submissions. I appreciate the fact that his comments were focused on my work and the questions I had, and were not the run-of-the-mill statements you get with some other reviewers. I have no hesitation whatsoever to highly recommend Bob for this Virtual Jury exercise."
