Art Fair Reviews from Exhibiting Artists

For Exhibiting Artists

Art Fair SourceBook is where artists read honest reviews of art fairs and craft shows, written by artists who exhibited there. We've been collecting them since 1993 and now track 700+ shows across the country.

What artists tell us

After a show, exhibiting artists send us an anonymous report: what they sold, how the show was run, and whether they'd do it again. Sales are reported as net sales, meaning gross sales minus the application fee, booth fee and $200 a day for expenses, so shows of different sizes and lengths compare fairly.

Why artists trust them

  • Every review comes from an artist who exhibited at the show.
  • Reviews are anonymous, so artists can be honest.
  • Ratings and rankings are based on what artists actually earned, not on what a show says about itself.
